Putting The Pink Fairy Back On

At last the Friday *Feeling* has arrived.

Not too sure about Friday 13th..

Just keeping away from ladders and black cats..😸 

Had a little bit of a lie-in...

(After getting up at 5.30am,

Because left arm was hurting :()

Hot shower to wipe away the cobwebs.. 

 

 Coffee & nibbles...

Sorted out my voodoo doll pins..

 Went outside for some fresh air..

The Pink fairy was put back on the Sexy Beast...

 The film I was looking for earlier in the week.

I reordered it...

(The last time I bought it was 2005)

*Be watching it later...*

I had a good friend pop round for coffee and chat...

I used a large glass for the coffee..

I had run out of ideas for our evening meal tonight...

Time to reach for the good book...

Used up the last of the white wine in the recipe..

 While I did the chop chop,

Alexa was playing some great Rock 'n' Roll songs.

Once the meal went in the oven..

More ideas needed for next week...

Time to dish it up..

As Sound of the 60's is on tomorrow at 6am...

From High Pitch To A Flat Tone....

I had to get up early...

As having my 👀 checked...

Off for a ride....

While I was waiting for the Optometrists to open..

I sat on a bench,

A good song started to play,

I started to sing along....🎶♬

A teenager who was sitting on the same bench, got up and left. 

Surely my singing isn't that bad! 

(The song is the my pop video of the day)

Had the drops put in my eyes.

Results in 3 weeks time 

I had to wear my big big sunglasses for the rest of the day..

Caught up with some programmes on Netflix.

Sorted out my felt supply out.

 Off to practice singing the particular song in my hubby's ear in bed ....

 

Baking Hump

Welcome to my Hump of the Week,

I enjoyed a lie-in.

Now for nibbles...

I got out the recipes I am attempting today...↓↓

I put on my Star Baker apron..

First up to bake is:

Rose & dark Chocolate Shortbread.

next bake was:

Orange & Rosemary Possett Puds

In between all this baking I had a delivery.

While the third bake was in the oven...

 Coffee time! 

My third bake was:

 Potato, Cheddar and Red Onion Pasties

Everyone loved the pasties.

Finally took off my apron.

Now to watch other people bake in the 7th series of:

 Now to use my warm baking hands on hubby..

 

 

 

Cake Is The Answer!

I had a bad night of tossing and turning

(Isn't that a name of a song?) 

I got up after giving my hubby some big 💋💋

Time for coffee and nibbles.

 I had a good friend pop in for coffee and chat.

We all finished off the cake...

(with addition help from my kids)

I thanked her for popping round.

Had to put my mouth battery on charge...

Now for chop chop.

Honey & Lemon Chicken, with mustard mash and peas...

  Found the batteries...

Now to turn on  the candle!

I tried to find a particular film on DVD.

I found yet another copy of Soldier Soldier series 1 & 2

and series 4

Even found my pink Russian Dolls

 I couldn't find the film,

So I watched the fifth series of....

I checked on Amazon for the film I wanted.

Last time I bought it off Amazon was in 2005!!!!

After looking all day for this damn film...

(And not finding it!!!)

 Now I can hear my 🛏 calling me....

 

The World Is A Lot Brighter Now!

Had a little lie-in..🛏

 We only had a drop of milk left,

So no muesli for breakfast...

Off out for another ride... 

Upgraded my long sighted and reading glasses...

Off to do the food shopping...

Then off to Morrisons..

With some vouchers..

We got £5 off our shopping \o/

Time to some chop chop...

 Jacket potatoes, Sausage,leeks with Gruyere Cheese.

Now for series two.

Alas my taxi driver of last week,

Is going back to his other job tomorrow...
