A little "Ooby Dooby" Today

It's been a week since I was released from Hospital.

It looks like I just have to have Paracetamol for the pain from now on.

Plus the hospital didn't give me the medication to stop DVT's.

Getting into my Doctors is like phoning A High Security Building at lunchtime.....

When I finally got through: 

"See what the doctors says........"

Heard nothing since... closed now,closed at the weekends......great!!

Really need some.....↓↓

 Not that I have sat down today and rested...

Well just for a little bit....

Using the wheelchair a lot more.

There are grooves now forming in the carpet!

I listened to the 1950's station on my Amazon Echo...

Wow, so many BIG songs.....

It got me in the mood to surf the internet for some  Black Friday deals, with my ever faithful foot up.

That's Christmas sorted!

Now to enjoy the last drops of the Friday Feeling.....

 

I Fancy Some....

I was sat in my wheelchair at 5am in my kitchen...

I fancy some.....

 so I did at:

Had plenty of rest and fruit..

(like you have to do)

 I had a good friend come over.

Coffee and chat time

(With some Bee Gees songs in the background) 

Afterwards, I had to put Microsoft Word onto my laptop... 

 Phil Collins and "Against All Odds" came onto my Amazon Echo...

 Time for some serious backing vocals......

My Gerbils and Hamster were my audience.

No reaction from them....

Don't know whether that is a good thing or not! 

 

 

It's Just The Steps!

Welcome to my Hump of the Week.

I have had a much quieter day than yesterday.

Even had a little lie-in until 6.30am!

(Woo Hoo)

I felt my creative juice flowing..

Foot up, laptop out...

 

 I was expecting a visit from my brother and dad.

I got a lovely parcel through the post...

Big hooks only need apply!

I have appointment to the hospital when I have the old cast off, and new cast put back on for 6 weeks.

Getting out of the house is going to be fun that day! 

My brother and dad turned up for tea and chat.

For some reason, my dad can still think I get into my car and drive.

I told him the clutch foot is still out of order..

Soaked the good foot..

 Now to break those big big hooks in...

 

 

Surprise, Surprise!

I left it a bit longer to go to the toilet...

Then 2 hours later....

Those wheelchair's wheels had smoke coming off them!

 

 That's better!

Now to relax with Honey,Lemon,& Ginger tea.

Once again, it was Singing time with Alexa...🎶

Motown time!

Doing what the cup says...↓↓

Had some nice surprises....

Having text conversations with friends,

Had a card and collection from all at Job 3 

 Then I had a box delivered by the postman.

Flowers from some lovely friends 💮

I then had a visit from my lovely friend who was in hospital, before I went in.

We caught up over coffee and chat.

Her lovely daughter made me a card,

which featured my childhood heros..

Bagpuss, Zippy,George and Bungle.

 (That's being framed and put on the wall!)

The flowers have been added to the vase with water.

In times of need,

 It's nice that you know your real friends are there for you to fall on 💖💖💖

 

 

Having The Touch Of Magic!

Welcome to a day of much needed Monday Motivation!

It would have been my late mum's 73rd Birthday

Once hubby and kids left the house.....\o/

Time on my own with my wheelchair for company...

While waiting for the broadband to be turned on...

I had to hop with my other toy to reach the telly remotes...↓↓

Now to snuggle under the blanket to catch up some telly watching.

Once my kids came home from school.

They moved some plugs around and....

Magic!

We have internet!

Two hours with some smooth 70's hits from Alexa...

I had to educate my kids with who

was singing the songs...

"Who's singing this?"

"Kenny Rogers."

"Who's sing this?"

"Free"

Etc Etc Etc

I had a dry mouth answering the questions to the 1970's Pop Quiz....

Hot chocolate Time

Ring Ring Goes The Bell...

Slept like a log once more....

We had to move the living room around abit.

So I could do a U-turn in my wheelchair. 

The Amazon Echo was booming out some great 60's tunes..

Like Matt Monro's "On Days Like These.."

We had to use our small bedroom television to watch some telly in the Living Room from now on.....

Found the much needed bell...🔔

Time for some needed Indian Food...

 

Better burn off some calories by doing some  sexy moves in the wheelchair.... ♿

Goodbye To Another Nasty Family Member...

I slept like a log in my Laura Ashley bed.

Now to get used to hopping everywhere.

Hubby had a to-do list.

He had to drop in something for the staff at the hospital where I stayed for 10 days.

I meanwhile caught up on some telly.

I had a new toy to play with too.

 Just turned over to watch Dalziel and Pasco.

The television went off, and the red light was flashing at us.

Television broke down....

Talk about bad luck in the past 3 weeks.

1. Mobile Phone broke
2. Broke foot
3. Television broke

Then I had a message off my brother.

My late mum's sister had passed last Tuesday.

The same sister who sent my dad a card after my mum died, saying:

"Sandra ate herself to death".

Then she and my mum's mum didn't attend my mum's funeral.

When my nan passed away in January,

I chose not to go to the funeral.

As when my brother went, my aunt said to him:

"Who are you?"

Then started saying nasty comments to him at the wake.

The last time I actually spoke to her.

It was 14 years ago and having my hair done at her hair salon.

 She said:

"Has your mum lost any weight lately?"

Not a nice person at all.

Another funeral I won't be attending!
