Thank You For A Great Present!

Popped into Asda,

I was reminded how long it is until Christmas Day.

 I enjoyed a much needed coffee and bacon roll

Delivered some Christmas cards in Larry.

 I had visit from a lovely friend

Who gave me a lovely food parcel for Christmas.

I gave him a big hug and loads of thank yous

A great true friend.

 

Trying To Pull My Finger Out....

I tried to get up the same time as hubby...

(We had a late night,

Due to my endless talking to him.

I worn both of his ear drums out!)

Failed...

Back to Zzzzz

Later on...

I made more Xmas cards....

With the help of some strong coffee..

4 of the 5 cards will be delivered tomorrow...

 Planning our Christmas cake

(Or trying to....)

 

Keeping My Hands Busy!

I didn't have to get up THIS early this morning..

It was nice to wave hubby off to work \o/

I had more cards to make...

 After I posted them.

Someone was glad to see me..

I found a ideal boxset to watch over Christmas

(Then I remembered I have it already.)

So I bought a plate instead!

Sunday mornings mean...

Lie in, gear stick play, and cooked breakfast.

I had made arrangements to rehome 2 guinea pigs last night.

We went round this morning, knocked on the door...

He came to the door in a very short dressing gown

(what a sight !!

Oh, my poor eyes....!!)

 He made excuses, we would come back later.

Went to Mcdonalds for a quick coffee...

He messaged me back,

"He had promised them to someone else,

Plus he hadn't confirmed the time for us to come over..."

Whatever....

Back home to take out my frustration out on someone..or something..

(Pity they wasn't a size 12 to fit my feet!)

Pigs In Mud!!

It's finally arrived!

Last day of school and work for me \o/

My "Pigs in Mud" cake was took up to the Town Hall

For the "Redditch Bake Off" competition.

 

 

Ready to be judged.

Later on,

We went back to take part in the Mayor's Quiz Night.

Our team name was "Handcuffs & Babyoil"

There was still some of my cake actually left after the bake sale...

(£150 was raised in the Bake Sale for  Charity)

 One of my son's finished it off during the quiz.

My film and music knowledge saved us from getting the wooden spoon!

Now to enjoy the flowers my hubby bought me!  

Rolling Out The Pink Fondant...

So much to do, so little time to get it all done!

I move the cake making crap to one side.

Now the card making crap comes out...

 I know I'm a perfectionist, but after 2 hours,

I only got 4 Xmas cards made!!!!

 

 

Now to get the top of the cake done...

Plenty of playing with pink fondant going on late into the night!!

Lots of swears as well!!!
