Giving It A Good Scraping!

The incompetent with nothing to do can still make a mess of it - Laurence J Peter
Welcome aboard my small Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡

 The sun was out \o/
I enjoyed a warm hug and a cup of tea in bed.
I gave hubby a big sloppy 💋 before he left the house.
 No chance of a lie-in.
Many things to do....
But first coffee and vitamin C time.
Time to get the old grout of the bathroom tiles....
After hour and half of scraping some of the grout off...
Coffee Break Time↓
 Back to it until dinnertime
The mask was took off.

Quick look at the newspaper↓
Charlie Daniels is 83 years old 🎈
Hank Marvin is 78 years old 🎈
Wayne Fontana (born Glyn Geoffrey Ellis) is 74 years old🎈
Stephen Morris (Joy Division, & New Order) is 62 years old.🎈

 Now for a nice  lunch
I got changed,
Ready to go to the Happy Place of Work.
I was glad I was wearing my leggings...
Freezing!

At least we still had blue skies when I got back!
It's getting colder...↓
 I got on with tonight's tea↓
 Added the garlic↑
Nice bit of Stir Fry, with vegetable spring roll.
Off to burn the meal off singing and working.
 One episode of
Before there was a mad dash to get under that 16 tog duvet, just before the heating went off!

Time To Be In The SideSaddle For A Bit.....

At last, It's Friday
Time to put on thermal knickers and scrape the windscreen.
Two of everything I was wearing, scarves, hats and gloves.
Panic Friday starts, cars were in no hurry to stop!
Enjoyed a late breakfast with a fine filter coffee at Webb's.
Enjoyed playing with the letters at Hobbycraft
(My twitter name)
Finally Finished the last shift of the week.
It then started to snow.
The pain was getting unbearable
I had to visit the GP Out of Hours Service.
Dose of Antibiotics, and hopefully the lump won't move!
Best to opt for the Sidesaddle for a bit...

At Least Something's Warm!!

It was minus 4c overnight.
The thermal knickers were put on
Time to scrape the car.
It was minus 3.5c at the time of the first shift of Job 1
2 pairs of gloves, 2 scarves, and  7 layers of clothing under my big coat...
Nearly had a play with Henry the Hoover.
However I got wind of bargain.....
A pack of 6 Kilner jars for £4!!!!
You never have enough jam jars!
Thermal knickers are warmly nicely on the radiator,
At least something will be warm....
for  tomorrow..:P

Time For The Thermal Knickers!!

It's freezing cold Monday time.
I reached for the thermal knickers.
As Mr Frost visited last night.
I had loads of clothing on,
Had to scrape, scrape and more scrape the car windows.
I added more layers for Job 2.
I had a elderly man comment on how warm I looked at Job 1.
I did say to him, "It would surprise him what I was wearing under my coat!"
He replied to that,"Bet it takes a long time to get undressed for bed?".
"With the warm hands of my husband, very quick actually!".
With that comment, I winked at him ;)
