Our son had his Birthday request read out on the local radio. He also had a Beatles record played for him as well...

Now to check the tyre pressures on Sexy Beast.

Then off to say hello to my parents...

While we were sat down on the bench, my brother paid for:

Someone parked behind Sexy Beast and went over to put flowers on the grave, of the man I chatted to last March before the first Lockdown.

When he came away, I told him I chatted to his dad before the first lockdown, a good 45 minute chat we had, and then next time I came up here, he had passed away.

His son said, it was the first year anniversary of his dad passing away.

(He got a bit upset)

If he wondered who had put flowers on his dad's grave last year, it was me. 

He thanked me for that.

I said I would water the plants if they are dry at the weekends I come up.

He thanked me for doing that.

Then off to Co-op to get some bargains.

A couple had two baskets of reduced food.

We didn't need that much.

We only got a bit.

Time for coffee!

Back home for lunch.

I read today's newspaper.

Then to write yesterday's blog post.

After that, I put tonight's tea in oven for later.

Then we caught up with last week's Dragon's Den.

Tea is served!

I got my stuff ready for tomorrow's 

"Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡"

We had to drop off son at his boxing lesson.

Once we dropped off son, the rain came in.

Hubby checked my tyre pressures in the rain.

Dropped off Sexy Beast afterwards.

We did the same to hubby's car.

Then we went visiting my parents.

Got chatting to Dave Messenger's wife while she was on the way out. Had a good yak.

We picked up son from his boxing lesson.

Quick coffee then back out.

Meat to get...

Then into Waitrose for some milk, free newspaper and free magazine.

 We nip into Co-op

Lots of reduced food for £7

Then we went to look at another car I could buy.

It's a bit bigger than Sexy Beast.

&

It's got a CD player in it! \o/

Thinking about it ;)

Finally gets home.

Younger son had put my Wishing Well together \o/

I was told that my neighbour is back in hospital.

I went round to find out if he is getting better and coming out soon.

After an hour and half I am back having a delayed lunch with a cup of brew.

Hubby had been playing with Henry while I was away!

 I sorted out all the cloths for the week.

Now to catch up with more Television.

Dragon's Den.

Nice Salmon Wellington for tea.

Then we watched the second part of "The Gods of Snooker"

Sleep Tea time.

Kids were helping to deliver some Labour leaflets for our good friend Cllr Joe.

I declutted the bathroom.

All the empty Body Shops tubs were put in the recycle bin, as our local store has closed down!

The kids were back in no time.

Now for us to go out for some fresh air!

We had to go to Morrisons for some mixed fruit.

We picked up a whole Salmon for under £8.

That's being cooked on Tuesday!

Back home to unpack the shopping.

There is now a vacancy come up for a Cllr for my ward.The one who was going up for it, as moved to Nottingham. so I have to go for a interview and get the ball rolling.

That should be interesting....

I gets yesterday's blog wrote while hubby does his work out on the Wii.

He would have been 88 years old 🎈

He died aged 84 in 2017. 

Bobby Darin (born Walden Robert Cassotto)  was an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, impressionist, and actor in film and television. He performed jazz, pop, rock and roll, folk, swing, and country music.

He died on this day aged 37 in 1973

I was up before 8am...

The washing machine went on,

I enjoyed a cup of tea,

Now to catch up with MY programme while everyone else was sleeping...

  After watching the episode about Christmas Wreaths, everyone got up!

I put the Christmas Wreath on the front door..↓

I put on my Santa hat with the bells... 

Now off for a little ride....↓

 First stop was to visit Aldi's↓

 We had to visit Morrison's next door to get some more things.

We got lots of reduced food...↓

 Next I visited Argos to pick up another ottoman to put more linen in from the Airing Cupboard↓

 We popped into Sainsburys to see if they had any reduced food!

Loads!

We gets back home↓

 The  new festive door mat↓

 My new waterproof gloves arrived for my Lollipop job↓

 As I am tired of soggy gloves after it has rained!

I put some dubbin' on my boots too↓

 I tidied up the Dining Room.

Emptied the tumble drier twice.

(The washing machine has been on 4 times today, and there is still more washing to do!)

Hubby filled up one ottoman,

Came downstairs and refused to put any more linen in the other ottoman!

 I will do it later on!!!

Sorts out 3 bags of clean towels, cloths, tea towels, and dusters for my three jobs tomorrow!
