Using Up The Magic Box!

Lent starts........
Up early to do the Heardles:

Breakfast with Brew.
I gave hubby a sloppy wet one πŸ’‹ before he left for work.
Once I got up, the thermal vest went on.
First up was to nip out to get the newspaper and bits for tea tonight.
I got everything from Tesco Express.
An orange Skoda has parked so the traffic lights couldn't pick him up to change to green.
A good ten minutes he was waiting for the light to change. I went the other way. 
The house next door to my late dad's old house is up for sale...
£300,000 and it's yours!
Back home.
Coffee time!
Now to use up two cauliflowers that was in this week's magic box.
Plus four leeks as well.
Cauliflower Cheese! 
It was put in the oven ready for tonight!
I wrote one blog post up to liquid lunch!
Back to writing the second blog post....
Breaktime for Tea at 3. 
Put the oven on.
Nice £7 rent increase a week from April!
Might have to dig out the tent soon!
Back to finishing off the blog post.
Hubby comes back and has a sloppy wet one πŸ’‹
Tea is ready!

Gotta Give It Up ...Tomorrow!

I woke up later on.
The thermal vest went back on....
Loaded up the dishwasher.
Now to get some fresh air...
Popped into Morrisons to get the newspaper and a few bits.
It was well busy in there, too busy for my liking.
Back home I go.
Time for some coffee...
Unpacked the shopping.
Now to write more blogs!
Did some up to the liquid lunch.
Then more blogging to do.
Tea at 3 
Lent starts tomorrow.
No chocolate or Cake.
No Birthday Cake either for me for next Tuesday!
It would be my 20th Wedding Anniversary tomorrow to my first marriage.
Divorced in 2011 
Remarried in 2011
I will be celebrating my 12th wedding Anniversay in September to my second marriage :) 
Next year is going to interesting.....
It's my real Birthday.

The beetroot burgers went into the oven.
I'm not a fan of pancakes.
This is the first year the kids are not here to have any. Hubby and I didn't fancy any.
Hubby came home and had a nice wet πŸ’‹
Burger is ready.

Making Full Use Of The Sunny Hump!

Welcome to my Hump of the Week πŸͺ
Warm hug with brew.
Breakfast.
I gets the kids up ready for school.
Dressed.
I gives hubby a wet one before he leaves for work.πŸ’‹
Both kids have two wet ones before they leave to go to school.πŸ’‹ 
I go outside for some much need fresh air.
I feed the birds and give them some fresh water.
I needed to find my pom pom makers.
While on the search, I tidied up the corner of the room where all my wool and fabric is stored.
Found what I was looking for...
Just need to put everything back.
Coffee time.
Unloads and loads up dishwasher.
Time to play my rather large playlist.
Blog time.
More Prima Makes mags arrive.
Pity I have number 5 and 20 already.
I will resell them on in the coming weeks.
Lunchtime arrives...
Nice and sunny Hump today.
Better the make the most of sunshine today...
The temperatures are going down tomorrow ↓↓↓
 Now to enjoy some rays of sunshine.
Even going to have
Tea at 3 outside.
Then it's on the get the tea for later.
Nice red casserole pot comes out...
Once all put in, it goes into the oven on a low temperature....
Now to play with my pom pom makers....

Rod Allen (born Rodney Bainbridge, in Leicester) was  the lead vocals, bass of the 60s group The Fortunes.
He would have been 77 years old🎈
He sadly died aged 63 in 2008
 
Trying to find out how the house sale going on.
Been fobbed off by the Solicitors dealing with the house sale and the Estate Agents can't speak to me, because they can only talk to the younger brother....
Funny when they want something signed, they get in contact with me!
Time to dish up the food!
Slowed cooked chicken with vegetables.
Hubby and younger son went off to Lidl's to do some top up shopping.
While getting ready, the younger son caught his pocket of his coat on the bannister.

I will be sewing the pocket back on tomorrow!!
Getting the hang of making pom poms again.
 
 Hubby and son came back from Lidl.
They put the shopping away.
Hubby and I put all 3 green bins and neighbour's green bin out ready to be emptied tomorrow.
We caught up with two Hoarding Programmes that was on Channel 5.
Sleep tea time.
Last day of work and school for hubby and kids for the Easter Holiday tomorrow.
Lent finishes on Saturday \o/

Circling That Important Date...

Hug with a brew to start the day.
Breakfast.
Hubby went and got the newspaper.
I went back to enjoy the kingsize bed...
Later on I had a lovely coffee in bed with a quick read of the newspaper.
Mike Maxfield (born in Manchester, England) is an English songwriter and guitarist, who came to fame as a member of The Dakotas. He composed "Cruel Sea", a song which was first recorded by The Ventures . The Dakotas later recorded an instrumental version of the track, which was one of the group's biggest hits. 
He is 77 years old 🎈

Now to face the world!
I go outside for some fresh air.
It was so warm, all the windows got opened.
I had my letter to tell me to shield until March 31st.
Not long to go until I have the 1st dose of the Covid-19 vaccine...
Not long until my Birthday either 🎈
I chopped some peppers,onions, mushrooms, and garlic ready for tonight's tea of Smoked Haddock fillets with cheddar and mustard sauce.
Now for lunchtime.
We had to guess the year while having lunch.
I have added own selection of hits.....↓
Then I got on writing yesterday's blog post.
I enjoyed listening to lots of Guy Mitchell songs like↓

5 weeks and 3 days left of Lent!
There is a circle on the calender when Lent finishes↓
Puts the oven on for the tea to cook.
Once hubby had finished work.

Sleep tea time.
We watched the newspaper review.
Hubby will be getting the Daily Mirror tomorrow as well as our normal newspaper and neighbour's magazine.
