Getting Them Out (Again!)

The eleventh commandment: thou shalt not be found out -
George Whyte- Melville
Welcome to my Storm Barra Tuesday 🌀
Nice warm hug.
Brew with breakfast.
Thermal vest added.
Dressed.
Out they come again
 Sexy lumo trousers.
As the Storm Barra is coming in today....
I give hubby a wet one 😘
On goes 2 winter hats, waterproof gloves and boots.
Puts on my lights.
Now let's go to work!
Oh dear, four cars had to do emergency brake!
The look I had when they had to stop.
The rain held off, however the wind was getting up.
At least I finished in one piece.
I got the newspaper on the way home.
I put on the coffee machine.
My son has finished the 1000 piece jigsaw he bought on Saturday.
It took him 24 hours to complete it \o/
Just got to get a picture frame for it now.
Coffee time.
Now to write the interesting blog post from yesterday all the way to lunch!
I was umming to whether to put those sexy yellow trousers back on for the afternoon shift.
I looked out the front door and it was coming down heavy!
On goes the sexy lumos yet again!
On goes 2 winter hats, waterproof gloves, and boots. I go and put on my lights.
I chat to one friend as the other friend has gone for a Christmas Meal with his sister.
10 minutes before I was due to start, the rain stops and the sun comes out!
I said goodbye to my friend and started my afternoon shift.
I have the normal ones on the otherside of the road, that can't understand they have to stop when my stick comes out!
One Amazon van decides to park on my side of the road, on double yellow lines, so it was making me harder to see cars up the road and the car drivers to see sticking out my stick.
There were 2 Amazon parcels left by a front door in view of everyone.
The owner returned before I finished and looked at the parcels left outside and wasn't happy!
The wind was getting up making it colder that it was.
At least I finished in one piece and dry!
Hometime.
Nice cup of tea is needed!
Then to chop up food for tea.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet 💋 when he came back.
Tea is served.
Lovely Veggie Option.
The 7th Advent Door is....↑
I looked in today's newspaper.
Harry Chapin  was an American singer-songwriter, philanthropist, and hunger activist best known for his folk rock and pop rock songs. He achieved worldwide success in the 1970s. Chapin, a Grammy Award-winning artist and Grammy Hall of Fame inductee, has sold over 16 million records worldwide.
Chapin recorded a total of 11 albums from 1972 until his death in 1981. All 14 singles that he released became hits on at least one national music chart.
As a dedicated humanitarian, Chapin fought to end world hunger. He was a key participant in the creation of the Presidential Commission on World Hunger in 1977. In 1987, Chapin was posthumously awarded the Congressional Gold Medal for his humanitarian work.
He would have been 79 years old 🎈
He sadly died aged 38 in 1981.
Greg Lake  was an English singer, songwriter, bassist, guitarist and record producer. He gained prominence as a founding member of the progressive rock bands King Crimson and Emerson, Lake & Palmer (ELP).
He died on 7 December 2016 in London, of pancreatic cancer, at the age of 69.
We carried on watching
"I am a Killer" on Netflix.
Intended Evil
After shooting his ex-girlfriend and her new lover, Charles Thompson is charged with manslaughter -- until his ex dies due to a hospital error.
Declared Competent
No one -- including David Lewis himself -- disputes that he committed murder. But Lewis's mental fitness remains in doubt despite his death sentence.
Family Affair
High on a drug that fuels his paranoia, Deandra Buchanan fatally shoots his aunt, stepfather and girlfriend -- a crime he claims he can't recall.
Sleep Tea time.
More rain and wind tomorrow...
Just in time for Hump of the Week 🐫

Making Full Use Of Saturday Night!

If you're going through hell, keep going - Winston Churchill
I did my normal Saturday thing....
I caught the final hour of "The Sounds of the 60s"
Had lots of cuddles in bed while listening..
We even enjoyed breakfast in bed↓
 The sunshine is back \o/
I went to get out a pillow case out of the airing cupboard, when I noticed the strong smell of damp!
4 basketful of linen all damp and needs rewashing.
The 13 year old boiler is leaking again!!!!
I left a plastic bowl underneath from last time↑↑↑
Phones up the Council Emergency Department, they will send out a Plumber.
I had to visit the Sorting Office to find out why my parcel wasn't delivered today.
(The reason of the website, was my business doesn't have mail delivered today!)
My house is open 24/7!
On goes the Santa hat...
Off to my old job place↓
 It's locked away until Monday.
Hopefully I will receive it and not to one of the businesses surrounding my house!
Pops into Sainsburys...
I had to buy the last one↓
(Pity you have to pay for the frosting separate↑)
Just had to buy a Christmas CD for Sexy Beast↓
Got some cake tins at bargain prices↓
Plus some cooking aprons was in the sale↓
 Coffee and nibble time↓
I have a late light lunch...
No sign of the Plumber...
Eli Wallach, American actor (Magnificent 7, The Misfits, People Next Door),would have been 104 years🎈
He died aged 98 in 2014
Greg Lake, English rock vocalist and bassist (King Crimson, Emerson, Lake & Palmer), dies of cancer at 69 years old in 2016

Now to give Sexy Beast a wash...
While listening to some Christmas tunes
While singing along,
The Plumber had arrived.
Once Sexy Beast had his wash,
Back home...
The plastic box was full of water under the boiler.
He said the water was from a previous leak!
Then he took off the front of the boiler,
Turned on the boiler,
The water was coming out of the condensing pipe...
Top tray has water, middle tray and lower tray was full of water.
He advised me not to use the boiler until his Manager comes to inspect it on Monday!
So no heating or hot water until they decide either they are going to replace the 13 year old boiler or replace the part that is leaking!
I won't find out until Monday.....
Once he goes,
I nip to Morrisons to get some swing bin liners
(I forgot to get this morning)

Gets back to pick up my Lollypop coat↓
It can not be dried in the tumble drier,
I took it around to dry on my dad's radiator over night....
Told my dad on how much fun I am having doing the lollipop job 🍭
I went home,
Tea was done.
Now to catch up on so much telly I have missed over the week.
Here we go....

I Believe In Father Christmas

I woke up to a very dark morning.
I said to my hubby:
"I bet he has some royalties for this song."
Found out later he had passed away yesterday.
Greg Lake had actually discussed in a newspaper in 2005
about the royalties for his song......
The homemade Shepherd's pie was all eaten up....
 Back to cake making tomorrow...
